Visual Field Testing

The visual field is a complete area that can be seen when your eyes focus on a single point; this comprises of objects that can be seen on either side, and above and below the point that your eyes focus on.

Fluorescein and Indocyanine Angiograms

The retina is a photosensitive layer present on the interior of the eye. Light entering the eye is focused on the retina where it is converted to nerve signals that reach your brain for interpretation of the image. Blood to the retina is supplied by an underlying vascular layer called the choroid.

Ultrasound Biomicroscopy

Ultrasound biomicroscopy is an eye examination that provides a detailed image of your eye. It uses high-energy sound waves to generate images of the inside of the eye. Ultrasound biomicroscopy is most commonly used to detect glaucoma (increase in eye pressure and damage of optic nerves), cysts, tumours, foreign objects in the eye and extent of trauma.
